Anja Plaschg was already regarded as a musical “wunderkind” as a teenager – how wonderful that the Styrian-born artist can now be seen at several Austrian shows 2025! Plaschg calls herself Soap&Skin and has been shaking up the local music scene as a singer/songwriter since 2008. Her “Lovetune for Vacuum” catapulted the young artist straight into the top 5 of the domestic album charts. But SOAP&SKIN also gained fame internationally with her debut and was successful in the charts in France and Belgium, for example. Comparisons were often drawn between her and famous singer/songwriters such as Kate Bush or Björk.
In 2012, she made her debut as an actress in the movie “Still Life” before taking a break for a few years. She celebrated her musical return with her third album “From Gas to Solid/You Are My Friend” and made her furious live comeback at LIDO SOUNDS 2024. In addition to a series of Austrian shows at the beginning of 2025 – including a sold-out date at the renowned Wiener Konzerthaus – Soap&Skin will now also perform in the Austrian capital in September 2025.
