Having been with Arcadia Live for several years, the booker will take over as head of the Austrian promoter‘s live team!
Arcadia Live GmbH – the German-Austrian joint venture involving the FKP Scorpio Group and, through it, Eventim Live – is setting the course for the future of its concert business. As of early November 2026, Florian Plakolm will take over as Head Promoter, leading the live team at the Vienna-based concert promoter. Plakolm has been a booker at Arcadia Live for almost five years, playing a key role in the development of the company’s concert and festival portfolio. Among other projects, he has been responsible for programming LIDO SOUNDS in Linz and the renowned METAStadt Open Air concert series in Vienna.
His career highlights include prestigious bookings by Austrian artists, such as two sold-out SOAP&SKIN concerts at the world-famous Vienna State Opera, as well as shows by international headliners and emerging talents including AIR, BLOOD ORANGE, CHET FAKER, BABYSHAMBLES, FLO RIDA, GARBAGE, IDLES, JUNGLE, KHRUANGBIN, LITTLE SIMZ, MAX RICHTER, SOFIA ISELLA and YUNG LEAN. His work and instinct for identifying promising artists and developing live formats have also earned international recognition. In August 2026, the renowned industry publication IQ Magazine included him in its „New Bosses 2026“ list, which annually highlights some of the most promising rising professionals in the international live music industry.
In his new role as Head Promoter, Plakolm will continue his journey at Arcadia Live, taking on a central role in the strategic development of the Austrian promoter’s concert business. “I’m very grateful for the trust placed in me and excited about the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of Arcadia Live in my new role as Head Promoter. We have a fantastic team and are already working on plenty of exciting projects and shows for 2027 and beyond. I’m looking forward to everything the coming months and years will bring,” says Florian Plakolm.
Arcadia Live founder and current Head Promoter Filip Potocki will remain involved with the company as Managing Director, continuing to work closely with parent company FKP Scorpio while also remaining at the helm of FKP Scorpio Poland, where further personnel changes and additions are underway. “We’ve built Arcadia Live over the past few years with a great deal of passion. Flo has played a key role in that journey and has more than earned this new position. I’m delighted that he’ll be taking on greater responsibility at Arcadia Live. I’ll remain Managing Director, continuing to contribute my experience and provide support and guidance wherever needed. With Flo by my side in Vienna, I’ll also be able to focus more on my role as Head Promoter at FKP Scorpio Poland, where Jakub Soczewko is strengthening the booking team, bringing many years of industry experience,” says Filip Potocki, commenting on his long-standing colleague’s new role and responsibilities in Austria, as well as the personnel changes in Poland.
