WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO LIVE IN VIENNA!

DEFTONES, OLIVER TREE, FREYA RIDINGS, COCOROSIE and other major acts are coming to Austria for concerts!

From avant-pop and experimental electronica to indie newcomers and global rock icons, this concert preview highlights a diverse selection of artists heading to Vienna in 2026. Across venues like WUK, Flucc, Arena, and METAStadt, the coming months promise a rich mix of sounds, styles, and standout live performances.

COCOROSIE | 12 June 2026, WUK Vienna
For over 20 years, CocoRosie have crafted a singular sound blending operatic vocals, lo-fi textures, and avant-pop. With eight albums, global tours, and collaborations with Robert Wilson and the Kronos Quartet, they’ve built a world of their own. In June 2026, they return to the stage – stopping in Viennas WUK.

SMERZ | 22 June 2026, Flucc Vienna
Smerz – Henriette Motzfeldt and Catharina Stoltenberg – release their second album “Big City Life” in May 2026. Their music moves between electronic experimentation, classical elements, and pop, exploring everyday life, daydreams, and solitude. In June, they bring their distinctive sound to Vienna.

OLIVER TREE | 9 July 2026, Arena Vienna
Oliver Tree stands out as one of the most eccentric pop acts of the internet era. Blending music, visuals, and performance, he creates a deliberately disruptive style between pop and alternative. With viral hits like “Life Goes On” and “Miss You” he merges meme culture with art and pushes genre boundaries.

FROST CHILDREN | 15 July 2026, Flucc Vienna
Sibling duo Frost Children – Angel and Lulu Prost – combine EDM roots with contemporary dance on their album “Sister” (2025). Shaped by a near “twin telepathy” their sound fuses emo, electro, and pop. The result is a direct, high-energy take on themes like connection, change, and dependency.

DEFTONES | 16 August 2026, METAStadt Open Air Vienna
Deftones are among the most influential rock bands of their generation. Since forming in 1988, the GRAMMY®-winning group has sold over 10 million albums. Landmark releases like “White Pony” defined an era. Their 2025 album “Private Music” continues to underline their lasting impact.

EMMA HARNER | 29 September 2026, Lucia Vienna
Emma Harner is one of indie’s most exciting new voices. Based in Boston, she gained attention through viral clips and stands out for her guitar work and emotional songwriting. Following her EP “Taking My Side”, her 2026 debut “Evening Star” offers a personal reflection on nostalgia and identity.

FREYA RIDINGS | 18 October 2026, WUK Vienna
Since “Lost Without You” (2017), Freya Ridings has been one of the UK’s most distinctive voices. The song became a global hit, while both her albums reached the UK Top 10. With “Mother Of Pearl” she now presents a powerful and personal new work – brought to life on stage in Vienna.
