For over thirteen years, Farewell Dear Ghost have been a defining name in Austria’s indie-rock scene. Their journey includes winning an Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2018, extensive radio airplay across Europe, appearances at major festivals beyond their home country, and tours as far as Asia.
Following two albums, “We Colour The Night” (2013) and “Neon Nature” (2018), and two EPs, “Skin” (2016) and “Conditional Panic” (2022), Farewell Dear Ghost are now returning with new music. Their new EP, “we are still here closer than ever”, is set for release in late 2026 – a collection of songs marked by raw honesty, vulnerability and emotional intensity.
After more than a decade together, one thing remains unchanged: the band’s unmistakable energy on stage. What began as the restless drive of young musicians has evolved into a more grounded and self-assured sound, without losing its passion or anthemic power. Their music has become more personal, direct and intimate, while retaining the impact that has always defined them.
