The newcomers "Hidden Gemz" can be found somewhere between hip-hop and rock in the heart of Vienna: the young band succeeds effortlessly in uniting different elements from the most diverse corners of the music cosmos - Viennese weekly Falter calls it "hip-hop without genre purism".
Hidden Gemz combine hip-hop and funkiness with melodic licks, have already played big stages their smooth, stable and highly energetic live performances and were therefore invited to the Waves Vienna Festival even before the release of their first single for good reason.
The 4-piece band consisting of Didier Kurazikubone (vocals), David Murg (bass/keys/vocals), Mateo Schmid (electric guitar) and Jonas Strondl (drums) is currently working on their first EP, which will be presented at the legendary Flex in Vienna soon.
