On January 1, 2027, Kiel-based band Leoniden will release their fifth studio album “If You Say Forever One More Time, I’ll Remind You That We Die” – a record capturing the longing for a long-lost summer and reflecting on nostalgia, time, and mortality. Following the release of the first single, “I Still Feel”, the album explores the tension between eternity and impermanence through Leonidens signature blend of indie, disco, pop, and electronic influences.
Known for their unmistakable sound and energetic live shows, Leoniden have become one of Germanys most successful alternative bands, with their last two albums reaching No. 1 and No. 2 in the German charts. Formed by longtime friends Jakob Amr, Lennart and Felix Eicke, Djamin Izadi, and bassist Marike Winkelmann, the band continues to evolve while maintaining the chemistry that has defined them for years.
Written during an intensive ten-day retreat in Denmark and completed in Kiel with producer Magnus Wichmann, the new album combines euphoric anthems, infectious melodies, and moments of reflection.
