The Luke Andrews Band is one of Austria’s leading pop acts, with a clear, handcrafted sound they describe as Artisan Pop: warm, organic band music built on real instruments, close interaction, and powerful multi-part vocals. Musical virtuosity and authenticity define their distinctive style – on record and especially on stage.
Founded in London in 2016 by Austrian musicians Luke Andrews and Tom Traint, the band quickly connected with the British music scene, collaborating with renowned producers including David Clayton (Simply Red, George Michael, Depeche Mode). These formative years shaped their sound and artistic direction.
Their breakthrough came in 2018 with the debut single “Coming Home” from the album “Leave a Trace”, which topped the Austrian charts and remained in the Top 10 for over 33 weeks. Further hits followed, alongside extensive radio and TV exposure and more than 100 live shows per year. International support tours with artists such as Simply Red, OneRepublic, Nena, and Zucchero expanded their reach beyond Austria. In 2024, the single “Another Start” gained strong international airplay, including rotation on over 80 UK radio stations.
