Muff Potter have recorded a new album. Titled “KLEPTO”, the record is nearly finished and marks the band’s ninth studio album to date. Founded in 1993 in Rheine, Westphalia, and based in Berlin for many years now, Muff Potter are returning with their first new full-length since their 2022 comeback album “Bei aller Liebe”, which was released on the band’s own label Hucks Plattenkiste and entered the German Album Charts at #8.
Artwork and an official release date will be announced once the album is fully completed. What can already be revealed is that “KLEPTO” is scheduled for release in the late third quarter of 2026. In November 2026, Muff Potter will take the new album on the road.
Following two special shows celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary in autumn 2023, Muff Potter have appeared live only sporadically in recent years. At the end of 2025, the band played a short-notice fundraiser concert at the sold-out Neue Zukunft venue in Berlin-Stralau, where four new songs were performed live for the first time.
