Presented by Kronen Zeitung, Hitradio Ö3

Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen are Take That – one of the most successful bands in British music history, with over 45 million records sold worldwide and 12 UK No.1 singles. Formed in 1989, Take That quickly became a global phenomenon. Their third album, “Nobody Else”, sold more than six million copies worldwide and topped the charts in 11 countries. Following their split in 1996, the band reunited in 2005, marking one of the greatest comebacks in British music history. They went on to achieve three UK No.1 albums in just four years, while “Progress” became the fastest-selling album of the 21st century in the UK.

Since then, Gary, Howard and Mark have continued to build on the band’s remarkable legacy. Their 2018 greatest hits album “Odyssey” reached No.1, followed by the critically acclaimed “This Life” in 2023, their ninth UK No.1 album. The subsequent “This Life On Tour” sold more than 700,000 tickets across 41 dates, making it the biggest-selling tour by a UK artist that year. 2026 now sees Take That enter another exciting chapter, following the release of their Netflix documentary, the hugely successful “The Circus Live” stadium tour and new music from the band.

Their 10th studio album, “Dreamers”, is set for release later this year, featuring new tracks including “You’re A Superstar”, “Sweet July” and “Feel My Love”, featuring Michael Patrick Kelly. In summer 2027, Take That will bring the new album to the stage with the “Dreamers Tour” – their biggest European run in years, featuring 24 shows across 14 countries. Combining spectacular outdoor and festival performances with iconic European venues, the tour will celebrate both the band’s latest music and the timeless hits that have defined their extraordinary career.
