Wanda have long been among the most influential bands in Austrian music, taking their unique blend of rock’n’roll, big melodies, Viennese charm and raw live energy far beyond the country’s borders.
Their live shows are nothing short of ecstatic. For years, Wanda have played increasingly large sold-out tours across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while captivating audiences at major festivals and open-air shows. Their annual pre-Christmas show “Weihnachten mit Wanda” has also become a beloved tradition and a highlight of the concert calendar, regularly selling out months in advance.
With songs such as “Bologna”, “Bussi Baby” and “Columbo”, Wanda have created numerous hits that are now known well beyond Austria. Following six highly successful albums and countless live shows, the band opened a new chapter with “Salbei”, the first single from their upcoming album “Was mich umbringt macht mich schwächer”, due in April 2027. Combining Wanda’s unmistakable DNA with a powerful guitar sound, the track explores new musical territory while remaining true to the band’s distinctive identity.
New energy meets more than a decade of experience. Ever evolving yet unmistakably Wanda, the band continue to stand for big songs, big emotions and an enduring passion for rock’n’roll.
