2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by the user send to your computer or mobile device and store them there before sending them back to the same websites on the next visit. Cookies allow the website to remember the user's actions and preferences (such as login details, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be re-entered when the user revisits the website or browses from one page to another. Cookies are therefore used for IT authentication, session monitoring and storing information about the user's activities when accessing a website. When browsing a website, the user may also receive cookies from web servers or websites other than the website visited ("third-party cookies") on their computer or mobile device.

There are different types of cookies, which remain on the user's computer or mobile device for different lengths of time depending on their characteristics and functions: session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain on the user's device for a predetermined period of time.

3. Cookie categories used on the website
The website uses the following cookie categories:

  • Technically necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the proper functioning of the website, the management of your consents, for data security and to prevent misuse and enable you to use the content and services you have requested properly and securely. These cookies cannot therefore be deactivated. If you do not wish this category of cookies to be installed on your device, you will be asked not to use the website. The data processing is based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR in conjunction with Section 165 para. 3 TKG 2021.
  • Cookies for external media and services enable us to display relevant embedded media content to you. Cookies from third-party providers are loaded to display the media content after it has been retrieved. The data processing is based on your voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR in conjunction with Section 165 para. 3 TKG 2021.
  • Analysis and statistics cookies enable us to understand how the website is used by you and other users. They also help us to improve the functionality of our website. Data processing is carried out on the basis of your voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR in conjunction with Section 165 para. 3 TKG 2021.
  • Cookies for personalisation & advertising enable us to track visitors and their behaviour. They help us to create buyer profiles - which of course in turn helps us to only present you with suitable offers in the future. Marketing cookies also enable us to show you relevant advertising content. The data processing is based on your voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR in conjunction with Section 165 para. 3 TKG 2021.

You can find a complete list of cookies in the cookie banner. The cookie banner appears automatically when you visit our website for the first time. You can also call up the cookie banner via the cookies button at the bottom left of the screen.

You can change your consent settings at any time and revoke your consent, e.g. by clicking on the cookies button at the bottom left of the screen. You can customise your cookie settings by using the sliders and clicking on the "Save settings" button.

4. reCaptcha
We may use reCaptcha v2 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland as a technically necessary cookie. This serves to prevent abusive automated entries in web forms and thus to protect our technical systems. When you access a page in which reCaptcha is integrated, a connection to the Google servers is established and the following data is collected:

  • Your IP address;
  • Browser plugins used;
  • The cookies set by Google in the last 6 months;
  • Number of mouse clicks and touches you have made on this screen;
  • CSS information for the requested page;
  • Javascript objects
  • The date; and
  • The browser language.

5. Integration of video and music platforms
Some video and music platforms are integrated on our website. Insofar as your personal data is processed, the data processing is based on your voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR in conjunction with Section 165 para. 3 TKG 2021. We delete this data after revocation of your consent. Longer storage only takes place due to statutory retention periods or if this is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

5.1. YouTube
We may integrate YouTube videos. Data is only transmitted to the YouTube servers when a video is played. By playing a video, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. The following data is also transmitted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer;
  • Date and time of access;
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file;
  • the website from which the access was made (referrer URL); and
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.

This takes place regardless of whether you have a YouTube/Google account and/or are logged in. If you are logged in, the data will be assigned directly to your account. Further information on YouTube's data protection can be found at the following link https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5.2. Spotify
We may integrate functions from Spotify. The integrated plugins can establish a direct connection between your browser and the Spotify server. Spotify thereby receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you click on the Spotify button while you are logged into your Spotify account, you can link the content of the website to your Spotify profile. This allows Spotify to associate your visit to this website with your user account. Further information on Spotify's data protection can be found at the following link: https://www.spotify.com/de/legal/privacy-policy/.

6. To whom may we pass on your data?
We transfer your personal data to the extent necessary to the following external service providers (processors):

  • IT service providers and/or providers of data hosting or data processing or similar services;
  • other service providers, providers of tools and software solutions that also support us in the provision of our services and act on our behalf (including providers of marketing tools, marketing agencies, communication service providers and call centres).

All our processors process your data only on our behalf and on the basis of our instructions for the provision of the above-mentioned services.

7. Data transfers outside the EU/EEA
Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) that provide an adequate level of data protection as determined by adequacy decisions of the European Commission (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/).

Your personal data will only be transferred to countries that are not part of the EU/EEA and that do not guarantee an adequate level of protection if the controller and the recipients of the data have concluded the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (SCCs) as appropriate safeguards for the protection of your personal data and have implemented additional security measures or if you have given your express voluntary consent.

8. What rights do you have?
If you wish, we will provide you with information about all your personal data that we process at any time. In some cases, you also have the right to data portability, i.e. to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Under certain conditions, you can request the restriction of processing, rectification and erasure of your personal data.

In some of the cases mentioned above, we are authorised to process your personal data on the basis of your voluntary consent. You can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future, until then we will process your data lawfully.

Would you like to make a complaint? In this case, you can contact us using the contact options listed under point 1. You also have the option of lodging a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.

Insofar as we process your data in the interests of us or a third party, you also have the right to object at any time if there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.
